When noted children’s book illustrator Summer Clancy was 5 years old and picked up a crayon the first thing she wanted to try and draw was a horse. Little girls are enchanted by horses and Summer was no exception. Twenty years and several thousand drawings later Summer continues her love of all things pony with the exceptional tale of a pair of winged wonders named Matty and Joy. The two apprentice ponies are trying to discover what they were meant to be and do.
Sky Painters is a colorful romp through the clouds with an endearing spiritual message for children ages 5 through 9. Through a charming story furnished by Summer’s Mom Kaycee, young readers are taken along a clever fantasy that so many children have looked up into the sky and shared.
